G’day Sports Fans! America’s Major League Baseball (MLB) came to Sydney, Australia over the weekend with Arizona’s Diamondbacks (D’backs) facing off against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Sydney’s famous Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the opening games of the 2014 MLB season. What did you get up to on the weekend? For me, I headed out to Sydney to catch the USA vs Canada Ice Hockey. If you haven’t seen an Ice Hockey game do yourself a favor and check one out… They are absolutely action packed from start to finish, I went to a couple of NHL games when I lived in Canada many years ago. It was great to see some of the stars of the NHL and AHL out giving the Aussie crowd a really good show in the name of their home countries. In the end it was Canada who were victorious, much to the delight of the 21,000 strong crowd whose support strongly favored the Red Maple Leafs.Read More»
